Glenvarloch Luxury Self-Catering Lodge 

Built in 2006, the architect-designed lodge is set back from the road within its own grounds and is encircled by extraordinary views of the surrounding mountains.

The sweeping, gravelled drive leads to ample space to park up to four vehicles, with 

plenty of storage space in the detached shed for bikes. The garden is the ideal place 

to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the striking backdrop. On the border of the plot, the trickling burn provides the bucolic soundtrack and offers any little ones a chance to splash about!      

On the ground floor there is a double-height atrium that features an entire wall of windows allowing light to flood into the open-plan living area. This generous space includes three separate dining areas and a large, fully-equipped kitchen with central island  - perfect for entertaining! The kitchen leads through to the utility room and back door and at the far end of the property, there are two large bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a spacious double shower room.

Up the spiral staircase, the mezzanine is designed to make full use of the wall of windows with a minstrels' gallery and rustic oak balustrade that connects the lounge area to the rest of the open-plan living space. A cosy snug serves a either a secluded 

hideaway for quiet reading or an extra bedroom thanks to the sofa bed. The king-sized master bedroom is situated at the opposite end of the first floor with French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony and the panoramic views of the stunning mountains that encompass the village. Jack and Jill doors from the mezzanine and the 

bedroom reveal the master bathroom, complete with a Jacuzzi bathtub.
